This inlet is enclosed by promontories of dark-red trachyte and covered in Mediterranean maquis. It also plays host to a large pine forest. The sea offers up ever-changing shades of blue, and the entire bay enchants the eye. The grains of sand here are heavier and darker compared to those of the beaches closer to Alghero.
