Nuragic village of Palmavera
Alongside its beaches, Alghero offers a wealth of historical attractions, with the Nuraghe (stone towers dating from the Bronze and Iron Ages) being the jewel in the crown. The Nuragic village of Palmavera gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the distant past, taking you right back to the 15th century B.C. – the date of construction of the tallest tower, which is partially still standing to this day.
This incredible site is located on the road that leads from Alghero to Capo Caccia, close to the Lazzareto and Le Bombarde beaches.
