Stintino and La pelosa beach
Stintino is a small fishing village located opposite the rather melancholy but nevertheless enchanting island of Asinara. The coastline at Stintino is delightfully colourful. The most popular beach is known as “La Pelosa”, with its exceptionally white sand, very shallow sea bed and crystal-clear water, shimmering its way through every shade of green and azure.
This beach is guaranteed to leave you breathless: to reach it, you just have to drive for 40 minutes from Alghero or take one a bus or coach.
